The Walrus Room

Description

Inspired by The Walrus And The Carpenter by Lewis Carroll, The Walrus is a Battersea beau for hand crafted cocktails and seafood eats.

An establishment doused in rich woods and textured furnishings, The Walrus Room feels like a trunk of vintage paraphernalia where you'll find a glass encased taxidermy duck, brass candle sticks, hanging cages and an assortment of bell jars decorating cabinets. Intimate by nature and divine in spirit, this Battersea bar knocks up cocktails woven form the Lewis Carroll tale so you can find yourself on a journey through the fantastical pages as you sit and sup.

Definitely a place for sophisticated tastings, The Walrus Room serves up a humble menu of tapas style foods where seafood takes centre stage. Sink Colchester Rock Oysters or Lobster Rolls for more of a hearty dish and then tuck into an array of cheeses and charcuterie.

The Walrus Room Battersea - London Cocktail Bar Review

The Walrus Room is now closed. -- Some don't know much about the South West, some wouldn't waste the Oyster fare, some know it's where all the big supermarkets do the dirty and give birth to other big supermarkets and some think it's reserved for people with expensive dogs, running gear and buggies…
