This night was horrendous, The Jam Tree ruined our NYE! We received NO food after waiting for 2 hours, the place was massively overcrowded, the staff were rude and I can't believe how bad the night was organised. They had made no effort for NYE at all, no decorations, no proper count down etc they were clearly just out to make a lot of money which sadly they won't be doing with the refunds they had to shell out. I will never go here again.

Squeezed onto tables, only 2 courses received, starters arrived 9.50pm (8.45pm seating),argumentative staff, sick on floor not cleared up,queue for the loo over half hour, couldn't even raise an arm to drink a drink. Visited The Jam Tree Clapham on 2016-12-31

Mixed feelings really - I had a great evening but the food could have been managed a lot better so that they are ready for the event. We could have preordered our meals so that starters arrived on time at 9pm - food took way to long. My order was only taken at 21:20 and only received after 22:00 when my mate with a silver ticket arrived!!.. I didn't even get a dessert... Next year either start the event earlier or have meals preordered. 9pm till midnight is too late to be ordering a 3 course meal on New Years Eve! Visited The Jam Tree Clapham on 2016-12-31

It was a terrible experience. Unfortunately they were not ready for the event. The food took ages to be served, it was cold and overcooked (king fish), the drinks were not re filled as expected and the service was poor. It's a shame because I'm a regular costumer of the Jam tree and I love the place

Really good night. Very generous with the bottomless drinks. Food was nice, meat and chicken a little dry. Visited The Jam Tree Clapham on 2016-12-31

This place was such a disappointment and ruined our night. The place was overcrowded, we literally couldn't move. The staff were rude and the lines for the toilet and bar were ridiculous! Never again. Visited The Jam Tree Clapham on 2016-12-31

This was a bit of a disappointment. The ticket said strictly no entry before 11pm, we therefore arrived later than that. The bouncer was very rude to us and multiple others saying that we were too late and that there was no space. Considering we had pre-bought tickets it's clear that the venue oversold tickets. We eventually got in at 2 minutes to twelve (on New Years Eve!!) Inside it was too crowded and lots of residue from the people who had eaten before. The wooden stairs was a trip hazard and multiple people fell over on the stairs or slid on the wet wooden floor. My friend was denied to go out and smoke and told that she wouldn't be allowed back in if she did. It's safe to say that this is not a venue for a New Year's Eve event - and we won't be going back. Absolute shambles! Too many people for the size of the place, shoving and quite a dark room made for what I felt an unsafe environment. There was food being delivered to tables through an extremely crowded bar area throughout the evening and a 10 at a time policy to have a cigarette, resulted in a lengthy queue by the door in which I had to stand for around 20 minutes. The entrance area was packed due to the queue and people found it difficult to enter and leave. The only saving grace was the free prosecco all night, forget 1 bottle and 4/5 glasses this was a 2/3 bottles per person kind of event. Definitely wouldn't come back for another New Years event, just didn't feel safe Visited The Jam Tree Clapham on 2016-12-31

Appalling service at the New Year's eve event. We were told to arrive by 8:45pm to be seated and we arrived on time. We were seated (despite some efforts to move us several times due to issues with the setting plan) and the waitress took our orders for food at 9pm. At 10:30pm we still had no food in front of us, whilst others on the table were finishing main courses. The waitress told us several times, 'it wasn't her fault' and 'it would just be another 10 minutes'. This was a lie and in fact our starters didn't arrived until 10:45pm. To make matters worse and they weren't even the ones we ordered, and we were told that the salad had run out. It took a full 1 hour and 45 minutes for some cold starters to arrive that weren't even the ones we wanted. By this point all 'drinking only' silver ticket guests had arrived and we were still sat waiting for our dinner. At this point we should have been finishing it. Our main arrived after 11pm and they were inedible. Mine and my friend's fish dish was stone cold, overcooked and rock hard. My other friend's dish never arrived. We waited for our desserts until 11:40pm but they never showed up. During this time I went to the bar several times to check up on the situation. Waitresses and waiters were swearing at each other and the manager refused to speak to me. Rude, stressed out staff combined with inedible, incorrect and extremely late/non existent food ruined our evening. We are locals in Clapham and chose Jam Tree for New Year because we've been before many times and always receive nice, friendly service. Plus, it was offering the three course dinner package. Neither of these things we received and it ruined our night. I am completely perplexed how it was such a shambles. People had to pre-book tickets so they would have been aware of the numbers eating, and what time guests were arriving. The chefs and staff seemed completely unprepared and they promised a service that they absolutely did not deliver. I am left very disappointed having spent £55 (plus £3.30 booking fee per ticket) for the golden tickets. I have made a complaint to the management asking how they plan on reimbursing and compensating my group for this event but have yet to receive a response. Visited The Jam Tree Clapham on 2016-12-31

Great night! Good service, including the all important bottomless top ups, nice little touches like party hats and party poppers on the table, and tasty food. So much fun! Would definitely do again. Visited The Jam Tree Clapham on 2016-12-31
