Well worth a visit just for its front garden terrace, Gigalum can be found minutes from Clapham South tube station. With a bit of sunshine, the palm trees, cocktails and a backdrop of fine house music you may feel that London isn't so grey after all. The Ibiza-style terrace is a little oasis in the heart of Clapham South, perfect for an early evening drink with friends or a romantic dinner for two. The weekends are just as inviting with the likes of Judge Jules, Nicky Romero, Sister Bliss and Norman Jay on the decks the place is transformed, with the arms-in-the-air atmosphere of a rocking house party!
The beer garden is covered with awnings, parasols and heaters, so whatever the weather you can sip cocktails al fresco in the shade of the huge palm tree. The menu offers diverse choice for the more formal diner, or a selection of delicious tapas to accompany drinks on those long, lazy evenings. An eclectic music style complements the chilled daytime atmosphere, while the uplifting house music of the weekend nights has people travelling from far and wide.
Upcoming dates at Gigalum include headline acts such as UMEK on March 12, Eddie Halliwell, Felix Da Housecat and more and these will keep the place rocking throughout our Sunday schedule.

Always seems to be busy here (in a good way) and a good alternative to the other clapham bars on the high street.
This is a crazy bar! (in a good way)
i saw below someone asking about the Ministry Of Sound deal. We went down to Gigalum on a Friday night and next thing we know we're getting into MOS for free and seeing Paul Oakenfold DJing! The warm up set at Gigalum got us all in the mood too. We'd been having a chilled meal there first but the atmosphere really got going. Really good crowd, so refreshing as totally unpretentious. Bar staff not the most professional in the world but very friendly.

Hi TiestoFan! You can get free entry to Ministry of Sound every Friday, as long as you show up before 9pm, when booking through DesignMyNight! enjoy!
This is my fave bar in Clapham by far. Perfect as it is so close to the common and they have really good DJs . I have heard that you can get free entrance to MOS from Gigalum? How, when and where?? Please reply DMN team!!
Not bad place. Service is a little slow but good atmosphere. Not a bad place for drinks on Sunday night as its always busy.
Def recommend this place. Always really good tunes
Great, fun, lively bar in a perfect location from the Common. Look out for Rack DJ nights usually last Friday of the month. Eclectic mix of hip-hop, soulful house & mellow DnB!
This is a perfect summer bar! The outdoor terrace is a great place to enjoy a drink or two with friends and they often have good djs.
Great for pre-drinks. Always buzzing. Good DJs. A solid place for a good night
