What they say:

American Beer Giants Anheuser-Busch InBev (Budweiser, Corona and Beck's) are extending their reach to South London and opening their very first British bar under the Goose Island brand. The bar will be located in Balham, allegedly in the space formerly occupied by Be At One, just off the high street. With room for only 35 covers, expect an intimate venue that focuses on different varieties of the American ale while incorporating a local feel with some London bottles.

What we say:

Craft beer is having more than a moment; Londoners can't get enough of the stuff and any craft beer aficionado worth their salt will have sipped the fruity tastes of Goose Island. AB InBev haven't missed a trick by opening their first European bar and restaurant in South London, a young and buzzy area. Aside from the popular USA ale, The Vintage Ale House will also serve food inspired by American Smokehouses - think ribs, burgers and a meat-heavy offering.
