What they say:

From the Royal School for the Blind to a gourmet pub and now what could potentially be Liverpool's prettiest bar, The Florist is opening in a Grade-II listed site on Hardman Street. From World Trading Company (the people behind Liverpool's The Smugglers Cove), the new bar will be blooming gorgeous, with incredible design features throughout the old building. Starting with two in-bloom trees in the entrance and up the grand staircase to a flower wall, the bar and restaurant will be bursting with fresh flowers and beautiful botany. There will be some edgier touches too, mainly from graffiti artist Jody Thomas who is renowned for his work featuring botanical elements.

What we say:

Having won over Bristol with the first opening of The Florist, New World Trading Company are now bringing the concept to Liverpool. With dreamy interiors and a gorgeous historic setting, the new opening hopes to become one of Liverpool's most photographed bars. As well as brunches and light dinners, The Florist will stay open late for dancing and live music. Menus revolve around rotisserie and grill dishes, with plenty of options for vegans and gluten-free eaters, while cocktails also have a flowery theme and are made using herbs picked fresh from the garden.
