In the year that friends and families have been pulled apart, this new Castle Street spot is hoping to bring people back together. Taking inspiration from Spanish café culture, BoBo is Liverpool’s shiny new Iberian wine bar, tasca and charcuteria.
Welcoming Liverpudlians to meet, munch and catch-up, BoBo will be open from morning ‘til late, serving a selection of Spanish and Portuguese small plates. Chow down on regional cheese and charcuterie, meaty empanadas and cod fish cakes served with aioli, before digging into a mouthwatering selection of authentic pastéis de nata and flaky croissants.
And if all that chatting and chomping sounds like thirsty work, fear not - this place will also be serving a bevy of drinks, from homemade sangria blanca, to Iberian-inspired cocktails and over 20 types of gin.
Interiors are made up of dark green tiles, exposed brick walls and vintage artwork, with large sliding doors allowing drinkers and diners to spill out onto the street during the summer months. And with bottles of wine starting at just £16.50, a night spent gabbing away here won’t break the bank, or leave you needing to quarantine for two weeks.
Who needs a holiday anyway?
