Taking over the space that was once home to Epicurus bar, The Watermark is the newest watering hole to serve up innovative cocktails in Leeds. Split over two floors, the venue comprises of a subterranean bar offering highballs and lowballs, and The Living Room upstairs, which previously housed members-only bar Death and Taxes.
Founded by bartenders Dariush Afshar Haghighi and Filippos Filippopoulos, The Watermark is centred on inventive cocktails and hearty small plates. With a wealth of experience from some of Leeds' finest drinking dens including Leelex, Living Ventures and The Alchemist, these two know a thing or two about good drinks. Soak up a brandy-fuelled Aegean Breeze or craft beer with crumpets topped with Marmite, whiskey butter and cheese.
