Reinventing the traditional Italian working man's pub, Bacaro has already received rave reviews for its cicchetti in Liverpool. Now, the restaurant will be opening a second location in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

The new eatery will be serving authentic cuisine, inspired by the back alley pubs in Venice which act as a pit-stop to dinner, only serving drinks and small snacks. However, the minds behind Bacaro have given this concept a modern twist by encouraging guests to treat the small plates as a sharing menu, and combine dishes for a larger feasting experience.

The menu currently features pizzets, charcuterie, arancini and other spuntini snacks, as well as dishes such as the pan fried seabass, the dressed white crab, the braised ox cheek and the mushroom risotto, alongside a fine selection of desserts. Hopefully they will also bring their bellini bar to the new spot, with their lovely selection of Italian bitters to enjoy as you feast.
