Forget lumpy mash and turkey twizzlers, School of Scandal promises all the nostalgia of your childhood without any of the unpleasantness of school dinners. The new restaurant is opening on the former site of The Launderette on First Street and will be changing the space into a cool, all-day hangout, with wood panelling to reflect British boarding school themes, while tattoo-style art based around love will be keeping things fun. 

The menu is a hit list of comfort food dishes, kicking off with brunch and continuing through to desserts such as a knickerbocker glory and crullers - a freshly baked pastry topped with sugar. Drinks are a playful choice of movie-inspired cocktails, classics (which will be cheaper during happy hour Detention), and sharers - spin their wheel of fortune and you might even get it for free.
