What they say:

Following on from success with their Ancoats restaurant, Rudy's have continued to dominate Manchester's pizza scene with the opening of their second location on Peter Street. Happily ensconced between Brewdog and Albert Hall, the world-renowned dough throwers have brought their delicious oven-baked Neapolitan bites to the masses. Not only does the spot boast almost four times the space of the original venue, but their custom-built oven cooks up perfect slices in just sixty seconds.

What we say:

Setting up shop in a former army careers office in Petersfield House, Rudy's is knocking up their incredible comfort food chomps - named as the world's 10th best pizza - within the city centre. It's a walk-in only kind of joint, but don't let that put you off. Exciting toppings range from simple salami and mushroom offerings to expert combinations of anchovies and kalamata olives, or Tuscan sausage and friarielli. The restaurant also features a full-size bar serving up pints of signature pale ale, made in collaboration with local microbrewers Runaway Brewery.
