What they say:

It’s always a good sign when a temporary venue gets so popular it becomes permanent, but with The Frog E1 having the likes of Adam Handling behind it, this was an inevitability. He’s moving the brand to Hoxton and creating his biggest concept yet, bringing The Frog alongside two venues, Bean & Wheat, and Iron Stag. The same casual fine-dining approach can be found in The Frog and it’s also boasting much of its original design and art, including the signature wall panel signed by signature chefs. Meanwhile, Bean & Wheat is an extension of his no-waste coffee brand, and Iron Stag is a cool bar serving drinks designed to complement small plates.

What we say:

Casual fine-dining at The Frog means getting that MasterChef level food with the friendliness of a venue in, say, Hoxton. So while you tuck into their selection of tapas, large sharing plates and tasting menus, you can also opt to buy the chefs a beer. You might want to after feasting on dishes like roast cod, broccoli, miso and hazelnut, or cheese doughnuts. On the drink front, there’s your typical mix of cocktails, craft beer, and wine, but things get a lot more suave over at the Iron Stag – aged whiskies is the name of the game there. For coffees, you can head to Bean & Wheat, though they also have a fully-licensed bottle shop if you want something stronger.
