The second opening from the team behind much-lauded Brixton restaurant Salon, this Peckham eatery is as sustainable as it is stylish. Serving up a carefully constructed menu of European bistro-style dishes from breakfast through dinner, Levan also aims to re-purpose and re-use up to 90% of its waste, including turning herb stalks into ferments and infusions, and old milk into curd cheese. Stood shoulder-to-shoulder with some of Peckham Rye's favourite bars, Levan is bringing some stiff competition with its selection of left-field, low-intervention wines and botanical cocktails made with ingredients from their kitchen garden, such as a housemade blackcurrant leaf vermouth and a rosemary pisco sour.
