What they say:

The fifth restaurant from Roberto Costa and the Macellaio RC team takes a sharp change from their usual steak outlets. Gone are the cheeses and bruschetta, to be replaced with grains and fermented vegetables as new Fulham eatery Ardiciocca marks itself out as the first gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free restaurant in London. Opening next month, the kitchen will be headed up by Simona Ranieri who has created a menu of tasty free-from dishes such as kombucha chicken, flamed mackerel and kimchi cucumber, and even a sugar-free almond tiramisu.

What we say:

An Italian restaurant with not a lick of sugar, dairy or gluten in sight? They said it couldn't be done, and yet Macellaio RC man, Roberto Costa has proved them wrong as the restaurateurs fifth opening, Ardiciocca, will be bringing simple Mediterranean-inspired plates to Fulham next month. With renowned chef, and coeliac, Simona Ranieri heading up the kitchen, the menu features a great range of grain-heavy offerings and tasty dishes that value flavour and ingredient quality above all.
