Superstar on the Indian food scene, Vivek Singh has been impressing people with Cinnamon Kitchen in the city for a while, and now he’s the latest person to set up shop in the Grade II-listed landmark redevelopment of Battersea Power Station. Set in a railway arch, the interior combines the urban aesthetics of the original site with the sleek style of the Cinnamon Kitchen brand. There’s also a suntrap outdoor terrace with a view of the Thames, as well as a private mezzanine dining room for events.

You can expect even more seasonal Indian dishes at the latest venue, with dishes like Rajathani lamb curry, as well as chargrilled seabass in a banana leaf parcel. Typically, there are choice selections for vegetarians and vegans, such as bitter melon with buckwheart and amaranth seeds. Meanwhile, their cocktail list is curated by award-winning mixologist Tony Conigliaro – known around London for his, and I quote, ‘liquid witchcraft’ – and he’s delivering an Indian-inspired, spiced craft cocktails. Expect to find unique drinks like an Indian twist on the classic Mexican sangrita called Mezcal Verdita, made from fresh pineapple and curry leaves.
