Moonshine Minnie's

Description

Housed in the basement of Blues Kitchen Shoreditch, Moonshine Minnie's is a fun little speakeasy-style bar with a big character. Choosing not to play by the rules of the other Blues Kitchen bars, Moonshine Minnie's comes complete with its own look and menus. At the bar you'll find twists on all your favourite classic whiskey cocktails, with Sazeracs, Scotch Manhattans and Bourbon Sidecars flowing freely, ideal for pairing with the delicious southern American bar snacks.

The interior design packs a punch too, with Victorian tiles, rope panelling and a ceiling of stained-glass that spill kaleidoscopes across the walls. The room also features some stunning murals from Portuguese mural-artist Vhils who has used reclaimed prison doors as the canvas for his trademark carving technique. Customers can relax on chairs and in comfy booths to the soundtrack of solely female-fronted R&B - we're talking about the likes Etta James, Janice Joplin, Sister Rosetta and Koko Taylor.
