The Cosy Club in Leicester opened in October 2014 and is located within a former knitwear factory, which dates back to the early 19th century. With an authentically industrial feel throughout, the bar offers up tasty cuisine, delicious drinks and completely unique decor. Adorned with colourful textile pieces and spinning wheels, the building was carefully renovated to ensure the original features of the workhouse were not lost, inclusive of ceiling high windows, factory lighting and exposed stone walls.

Serving from brunch through to dinner you can expect a varied but hearty menu, predominantly based around locally sourced British fare (with a few international twists thrown in for good measure). If you're not eating, the bar comes well equipped with a range of bespoke cocktails and you can also help yourself to The Cosy Club's selection of classic board games. Planning a party? Look out for the venue's secret garden and the 'Loom Room'; which features its own separate bar and is available to hire for private functions
