What they say:

Bilson Eleven offers favourite Scottish food with a contemporary twist, served in a traditional venue. Set within a wonderful 19th Century Townhouse, it provides an intimate, homely setting with wood furnishings and dashes of purple. The food combines conventional Scottish flavours and adds a more experimental twist, such as the curried skink, which melds Glaswegian favourite curry with a cullen skink soup. Currently, the venue doesn't offer a wine menu and is instead BYOB.

What we say:

It's always exciting when a venue fuses familiar flavours with something unexpected, and it can reap amazing results. With tantalising options like the scallop, celeriac crisps and lemon jam, it's hard not to want to explore their options. Their dessert menu also offers a similar level of exciting familiarity, with offerings such as ginger cake, beer and biscuit fusing all aspects of that spice into one delicious dish.
