The Dead Canary

Bursting will life and with a confident swagger, The Dead Canary is certainly what you'd call a quirky restaurant in Cardiff. With it's head perpetually stuck in the past, the bar is beautifully decorated as a smokey, American speakeasy, where the air is still and the cocktails are expertly crafted, Come the weekend, things kick-up a bit, when the stage suddenly bursts into life, showcasing the finest young bands, solo singers and jazz quartets in the whole of Cardiff. With cocktail ingredients produced in their own on-site laboratory, you'll struggle to find a better place to unwind, dine and catch a great live performance.

Porter's

The team behind Porter's have certainly produced a winning formula when it comes to casual restaurants with entertainment. They wonderfully combine all best things you love about a traditional British pub with stunning live musical performances, side-splitting comedy and laid-back film-screenings. To complete the package, a range of delectable American-inspired dishes are available on their irresistible menu for guests to gorge on. If none of that appeals, there's always the ping pong table and min-golf course to keep you smiling long into the night at this quirky restaurant in Cardiff.

Chapter's Café Bar

Nestled fittingly in the Chapter complex, the Caffi Bar is constantly blanketed by a wave of art, theatre and music. Unlike most other restaurants with entertainment, the dedication of this bar to showcasing the finest culture that Cardiff has to offer in second to none. Intriguing art installations and theatrical performances are a given, and truly offer guests an unforgettable experience framed by the exquisite dishes produced by some of the best vegan and vegetarian vendors in the whole of Wales.

The Glee Club Cardiff

With the like of Lee Evans, Romesh Ranganathan and Josh Widdicombe having grace the stage with their comedic presences, and having hosted live musical concerts by Laura Marling and Cerys Matthews, it's fair to say that the Glee Club is definitely one of the main entertainment venues in Wales. Offering guests a complete night out in Cardiff, the venue's bar is stocked full of all your favourite beers, spirits and wines, while the food menu is full of all the flavoursome dishes you'd expect to find in a metropolitan eatery.
