Opheem

Description

Travelling through space, time and across continents, Opheem is a Michelin-starred Indian restaurant in Birmingham.

Created by the former head chef of Lasan, Aktar Islam, the eatery is inspired by the progressive cooking of chefs attached to various historical Indian royal courts, from as far back as the 13th century. The kitchen offers a selection of menus, ranging from seasonal lunchtime a la carte dishes to five and ten-course tasting meals, all using well-sourced produce. You can expect modern bites such as Orkney scallop with Bengali lime and coriander, smoked beef with fermented chilli and strawberry and vanilla tea lassi to finish.

Set on Summer Row, the restaurant features modern and suave interiors, from amazing light features through to a soft grey colour scheme. Drinks-wise, wine flights will take your dining experience to the next level.
