The Flying Duck is a great venue in Glasgow for quirky club nights, they've got them by the shedload, but we think Common People deserves a special mention. Common People is a bi-monthly club night that's all about 90s nostalgia. Free bingo starts at 9pm, with some wonderful prizes on offer - vintage shell suits and a blow up Mr Blobby have been up for grabs before - with the baton being passed to the DJs come 11pm for all your old 90s classics.
Boteco Do Brasil brings a little slice of sunny South America to grey and drizzly Glasgow. With weekly salsa nights on Wednesdays to some top Bossa Nova and other Latin American offerings on Saturdays, Boteco Do Brasil is a great place to bring your friends for a quirky night out. Grab a Caipirinha (Boteco's signature drink) and enjoy the vibrant, chilled out vibe that this Merchant City bar is known for.
You only have to look at the decor at Flat 0/1 to realise that this place is definitely a little bit quirky. Keep your eyes peeled for their monthly Wednesday club night Milk, which is a long-standing student and cool kid favourite. As the name indicates, they serve plenty of milk-based drinks (mainly in the form of White Russians) and even offer some Oreo cookies to go down with your dose of calcium. Definitely a quirky club night in Glasgow.
