One of the city's longest-standing vegan and vegetarian eateries, Hendersons, which set up shop in 1962, specialise in all things plant-based. With a capacity of 160 as well, the deli shop and bistro has the space to hold all your vegan desires, from delicious wraps and salad boxes to grab on the go, to cruelty-free brunches and delicious dinners. Head chef Paul Kayne has put together a stunning menu of tasty dishes, ranging from haggis with smashed purple potatoes to jackfruit stew and quinoa-sweet potato doughnuts. 

More than just a restaurant though, Hendersons offers a regular schedule of art exhibitions, movie nights, talks and vegan twists on special events such as Burns Night, Valentine's Day and festive fairs. They also bring you live music every night in their lower seating area.
