Nero XVII is Dublin's newest Italian eatery, serving pizza, pasta and grill options, with a number of plant-based and gluten-free dishes. Inside, the restaurant is a subtly chic combination of wooden walls, leather booths and a cream colour scheme. 

The menu is classic Italian cuisine through and through. Antipasti includes polpette and nero wings, with key mains such as the nero house special pizza, topped with artichokes, salami, rocket and fennel, pasta salmone with scallion and smoked salmon with mascarpone cream sauce. Then there's the star grill dish of bistecca con gorgonzola, made up of 10 dry aged sirloin steak, paired perfectly with an Italian bottle from the extensive wine list.
