The Cosy Club Cardiff

Description

With their brand of eclectic charm, kooky interiors and a penchant for good, hearty food, Cosy Clubs are popping up all over Britain. For the chain's largest venture to date, they've located in St David's Shopping Centre, a massive 200-shop-filled extravaganza in Cardiff city centre.

Despite the restaurant's modern location, the interiors are as retro as ever. Faded portraits of distinguished looking ladies and gents adorn the walls and the lamp shades look like they've been stolen from your nan's house, all of which adds to the impression of hanging out in an older relative's rather grand living room.

True to their moniker, The Cosy Club's menu reads like a big hug. Burgers come topped with pulled pork and chorizo, brunch is served until 6pm and there are separate vegan and gluten-free menus. The cocktail list is wonderfully summery; the Solero is a sugary-sweet combination of vanilla vodka, Passoa, lime, orange and passion fruit juice and a squirt of cream.
