Ladybird is Cardiff's independent venue hidden in a basement under St. Mary Street.

This 2 roomed haunt is a hot spot for music orientated frivolities, hosting a spread of resident nights and international DJ sets. Boasting a late licence until 4am and three nights of different music, Ladybird pumps out the best of every genre playing beats from House to Bass and Commercial to Motown, there's something for everyone. Think exposed brickwork, low archways and an LED lighting system that will light up the dance floor until the very end. 

Friday nights kick off your weekend with some hardcore tunes courtesy of their CYNT night where electronic and dance music are the name of the game. With world renowned sets from the likes of 2ManyDJs, Annie Mac, Dusky and Disclosure under their belt, Ladybird is the only contender for a big pre-weekend blow out in Cardiff. Saturdays are for those feel good vibes where retro romps and old school tunes make a comeback with a policy for R'n'B, Motown Classics and floor-filling anthems. Next comes Sunday when Ladybird throw one of Cardiff's favourite nights on what is historically the most boring day of the year. Super cheap drinks deals, 2 DJs and 2 rooms of raucous fuelled revelry await.
