1766 Bar & Kitchen

Description

Offering up a delicious range of seasonal dishes, warming coffee and crafty cocktails, 1766 is the in-house bar and eatery of the Bristol Old Vic. Headed over by chef Coco Barone, diners can enjoy a menu inspired by British classics and Barone's Italian heritage. Open for breakfast six days a week, early morning diners can fuel up for the day with fresh-pressed waffles with streaky bacon, or fried halloumi and avocado on chargrilled tumeric and chilli bread. The spacious eatery delivers also a slap-up lunch and dinner too, with a range of tapas and fresh salads alongside a big Sunday roast spread perfect for a day out with the family, including decadent desserts and vegan options.

The interiors are perfect for everything from a mid-morning coffee to a late-night cocktail with airy wood interiors and high ceilings. Part of the Bristol Old Vic redevelopment, this delightful bar and restaurant offers a great meeting point and social hub whether you're off to a show or just taking in the sights of the city.
