i360 - Sky Bar

Description

Designed by the same husband-and-wife-team that created the blueprint for the London Eye, the i360 will be the world’s first vertical cable car. And at the top of it? A bar of course.

The Sky Bar will boast a breathtaking 360 degree view of Brighton's beachfront with visibility promised to reach an astonishing distance of 26 miles! Each guest will be provided with a digital tablet to enhance their experience - helping them identify landmarks. And they haven't forgotten about the kids either. The tablets given to the children onboard will provide them with a 'treasure hunt' to complete, as well as teaching them some 'fun facts' about what they can see. As well as using the i360 to provide the normal viewing experience, it will also be used to host events - plans for dedicated date nights and live performances are already in the pipeline. And if you want to book the place out for a party of your own, fear not, the space will be available for hire and can 'comfortably' hold 200 guests - sky-high weddings, anyone?

With a glass of Champagne in hand, experience Brighton in a way that you've never seen it before - from 450ft above ground level! The experience is expected to last about an hour. Once you return to the surface, you'll have the option to head into 'The Beach Building' - a 400-seat brasserie where you can tuck into some tasty grub cooked up by none other than Steven Edwards, the winner of 2013's 'Masterchef: The Professional'.
