What they say:
After celebrating 100 years of hosting the most exclusive celebrities in London, the Ivy is expanding to Birmingham to give Temple Row a bit of glamour. Taking the spot of Louis Vuitton as they move elsewhere in the city, they’ll be delivering all-day dining in an upmarket brasserie style. But don’t worry too much about donning your suit and tie: they plan on offering the class of the Ivy brand with a more relaxed attitude, and are open to drop-ins too.
What we say:
Put those shoes on, wrap yourself in your finest (fake) fur coat and get ready to push your way through some paparazzi as the Ivy is coming to town. Much like their Bristol brasserie, this will be a little calmer than their flagship venue, serving breakfast through till dinner with a menu full of British food. There will be a few site-specific dishes mixed in with the classics on their menu, and it can all be washed down with their famous selection of cocktails and wines.
