Now unless you were a bit of a design boffin, you may not have heard of the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards, but fear not, a glorious city centre bar of ours is up for a gong so we thought we'd give you the low down!

Five years strong, the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards are a pretty glitzy and independent affair when it comes to awarding the creative gems that the globe's bars have on offer. Up against strong competition the world over, it's great to see that one of Birmingham's very own has been shortlisted for an award. A botanical hidden gem in the city centre, The Lost and Found is a Victorian themed bar in Birmingham whose kitsch wonders and vintage oddities have caught the design eye of this year's judges. The awards haven't been announced yet, but here's hoping that this adventurous bar further shows what Birmingham bars have to offer the creative community eh!
