Robin Thicke ain't so slick after all...

Robin Thicke's controversial radio hit gets a rollicking from University of Birmingham's 'Guild of Students' by seeing it banned.

The video caused a stir, the lyrics caused a stir and Robin Thicke has caused many a swooning stir since his early noughties success, but has the dapper chapper gone a step too far with his latest radio dominator? Giving University of Birmingham opinions the run around, Robin Thicke's blurred lines has subsequently been banned by the Guild of Students from being played in the Union building due to its derogatory manner and 'discrimination based on gender definition'.

The question on our lips? Will 'Blurred Lines' further be banned by Birmingham clubs and party institutions? Should venues censor the music that they play accordingly? It's an on-the-fencer from us at DMN Birmingham!
