A beloved South American eaterie, and one of Birmingham's only, many may have noticed that something's slightly off-kilter with this delicious lil' joint. Freshly rebranded as the Bodega Cantina, this intrinsically international restaurant and cocktail bar is expanding their Western wonder with a new website, menu and, as we've mentioned, branding to boot. And while many may consider this a relatively small change for Birmingham's beloved cantina, we're always happy to see a company, restaurant or bar adapt to the thriving market and maintain their plot in the city. 

Bodega Birmingham is rebranded as Bodega Cantina, bringing a new food and wine menu with it. 

Enough of the nattering, let's get onto the delicious nitty gritty.  While Bodega Cantina have kept South American favourites such as their beloved beef empanadas, added a rich Colombian spiced chicken beef brisket burritos, and removed their Brazilian vegetable curry, Bodega have seemingly sassed up the menu, shaking up descriptions and item titles. While the menu shake-up is again, relatively small, our favourite addition to the Bodega Cantina menu is their new wine-matching page. Giving diners the opportunity to pair their dishes, be them fish, vegetable or beef, with the Cantina's plush selection of bottles, Bodega are seemingly upping the artisan; And making sure that we're not silly enough to pair our rich beef with a fruity white. So silly.
