Wild Brewing: Make Your Own Elderflower Champagne
- Secret Destination
Description
This is a full day celebrating wild foods, but specifically our favourite flower - Elderflower! Led by James C.Wood and Jesper Launder
We will meet in Chorlton, I'll disclose the specific location closer to the date, go and explore what can be foraged from the hedgerows and local parks, whilst trying lots of tasters, return to our location of choice and do a range of things with elderflower.
Expect to try lots of wines and beers, elderflower fritters, elderflower cordial, elderflower sorbet.
Expect also to make a number of the formentioned items, but expect to definitely make 5ltrs of your very own elderflower champagne, or 1ltr of elderflower cordial. We will give you all of the key tips, equipment and knowledge to brew an amazing Elderflower champagne on the day to take home and enjoy at your leisure, we assure you once you've made it once you will most definitely make it every year! This is the one thing I get asked for repeatedly when it comes to present times.
We look forward to seeing you there..
Each participant will return home with: 5ltrs brewing elderflower champagne, demi john, air lock, muslin, brewing container.
