Mulligans

Description

Mulligans is an Irish, backstreet style pub in Manchester's Deansgate that proudly differs from similar franchises in the city and can boast being the UK’s number one Guinness seller for UK Enterprise Estates. Inside, the warm colours instantly give off that traditional Irish pub feel that is always cosy and welcoming. In Mulligans you can really bask in the atmosphere; they even host free live music gigs every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday! From Thursday to Saturday you can catch some quality cover bands from 9pm to 1.30am and on Sunday you can see some traditional Irish music from some of Manchester's finest folk acts from 9pm to 1am.

Situated behind Kendal's House of Fraser, it is a great place to end a day of shopping madness and relax with a pint of beer or some traditional Irish grub. In contrast it would also be a great place to start a night out with a difference to your usual cocktail bar. You will find a mixed crowd here because of its wide appeal. There is a function room with a capacity of 80 people available for private events. Live sports also play a big role in the popularity of this pub. They show everything from Premier League football to horse racing and Gaelic sports. It is even more well known because it was the spot where Manchester United players would start their night out in the days of Roy Keane and Denis Irwin, and for this reason the pub stays popular with Mancunians and Irish alike.
