Join Prohibition as they celebrate the start of the festive season in style - with a vintage boat party and free after party! Following the roaring success of their Summer Boat party, they've increased the capacity for their Christmas trip down the Manchester canal. The boat holds 80 people but this is still expected to sell out quickly! Hop on board the Princess Katherine as it set sails from the Mark Addy Pub in Salford (a short walk away from Deansgate).

You'll receive complimentary glass of sherry and a mince pie upon arrival. Throughout the trip, a delightful soundtrack of vintage beats and electro swing will be supplied for your aural pleasure by the Prohibition resident DJs. And seeing as it's the season, Father Christmas will be making an appearance to award a prize to the best dressed and to the winners of the GAMES that will be running throughout the evening!!

And the festivities don't end there, hop off the boat and into the Mark Addy for our FREE after party. Once used as the passenger waiting station for the Irwell Packet Ferry back in the 1800’s and now home to a fine selection of locally sourced real ales, the Mark Addy is steeped in history and known for it's delicious cocktails so this is the perfect place to carry on the party! And this is quite the place to spend the rest of the night, the Mark Addy boasts a heated smoking terrace overlooking the river, a huge bar and dance floor to swing dance the night away!
