But this is no everyday laundrette setting. Follow your intrigue and step through that door in the corner; for a world of prohibition drinking is much closer than you'd think.

There's something very Narnia-like about this elusive cocktail bar. Accessed only after you literally step through the washing machine, you'll meet a dimly lit, leather-clad watering hole serving suitably refined cocktails and a dirty house playlist to Manchester's in-the-know crowd. To say much more would take away the fun, just be prepared for a bit of a battle getting in; it's table bookings only and you'll need to track down their phone number to get it organised.
