Norwegian Blue

Description

Norwegian Blue is one of the big bars in Manchester's Printworks, where the beer is cheap, the music is loud and the location for the start of a good night out in the city is about as good as it gets. During the day Norwegian Blue a convenient place to pop in for a mid-shop coffee and catch up with friends, but it's at night that this place really comes alive. Popular with students and locals looking to blow off steam, it can get pretty raucous when the sun goes down – especially on Friday and Saturday nights when you can usually spot one or two hen or stag parties.
One of the reasons for its popularity is the brilliant drinks offers, which are really good value; there are cocktail pitchers from £10.50, while single cocktails are just £4.95 each or two for £7.95. During the day the food is equally good value, with a choice of paninis, wraps and burgers, as well as main meals, sharing platters and dishes from the grill, served alongside a soundtrack of pop favourites and MTV classics.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout and sports fans are in their element with 12 screens conveniently located throughout the bar showing all big sporting events. The atmosphere is lively every day of the week – and don't miss the karaoke evenings every Sunday night!
