Sorry, the places listed below don't have online bookings available, but we hope you still find this list useful for your night out!

The Thirsty Scholar

In an archway right under Oxford Street Station, in the heart of the city, is The Thirsty Scholar. It hosts live entertainment most nights of the week including bands, comedy nights, and even poetry nights for you more artsy types. Perfect for any night of the week as The Thirsty Scholar also does free entry for all events so take a peek.

Revolution Oxford Road

Revolution is a vodka bar, on the corner of Oxford Road, just a few moments away from the station. They have a great selection of vodka shots, in countless flavours. They also have a great selection of beers, wines, spirits and plenty of cocktails such as their saintly and sinful specials like the saintly elderflower based Wildflower Martini and their sinful Tennessee Mudshake (chocolate liquor, whiskey and cream!) - Delicious.

The Temple

Just a few minutes' walk from Oxford Road Station and slap bang in the middle of town, The Temple provides a great conversation starter right from the word go is it leads you under the streets of Oxford Road to a converted toilet! The rock 'n' roll drinking den plays host to ten tiny tables with banquettes and chairs running along each end. With a jukebox crammed full of Manchester's best loved bands; this venue is well worth a visit.
