Town House is a supper club style dinner party inside an antiques shop in Spitalfields.
An 18th century weaver’s house, the Townhouse building has been a doctor’s surgery, a furrier, coffee rooms and storage for the vegetable market. At the end of the Second World War it became the Market Cafe, which closed down in 2000. The building was then acquired, restored and renovated by Fiona, who runs the antique, tea and coffee shop and hosts occasional art exhibitions.

Guests sit around communal tables sharing delicious, seasonal family style dishes surrounded by antiques and locally sourced artefacts and objects. Dinner is £60 per person, including a welcome cocktail, four courses and half a bottle of wine per person.

Town House / 5 Fournier Street, E1 6QE
Last Saturday of every month from 7.30pm

We'll be donating £1 to Teenage Cancer Trust for every guest that eats with us at Town House.

Disappearing Dining Club
Disappearing Dining Club brings like-minded people together to enjoy great food, drink and good company in private and unusual spaces. In the last few years DDC have thrown dinner parties in lighthouses, launderettes, abandoned music venues, inside antiques shops, over a five floor department store, in churches, salvage yards, under railway arches, in photographic studios, on film sets, in galleries, fashion stores, recording studios, private homes, car parks, on beaches, rooftops, in street food markets, gardens, and countless warehouses of all shape and size. DDC believe in quality, seasonal ingredients and good cooking, serving elegant but unfussy dishes for people to enjoy. Stuart Langley launched DDC after 15 years of running bars, restaurants and members clubs in London and overseas. Stuart was joined in 2011 by Head Chef Fredrik Bolin and together opened Back in 5 Minutes in June 2012. Disappearing Dining Club have been using their dinner parties to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust since 2013. The money raised by DDC will help fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.
