From the heart of the most hip borough in all the world comes the most happening Burns spectacular ever to grace our Londonian shores. Brought to you from The Nest Collective and immersive event experts Adamotions, in conjunction with White Mischief, we present a Burns Night Supper in passionate celebration of the late great orator, poet, songster and break dancing free radical Robert Burns.

What you get every night:

3 Course Burns Supper with Pipers, Haggis, ritual, recitals and whisky

Set in the spectacular ecclesiastical colosseum that is St. John’s at Hackney, fair lassies will have odes read in their honour, overstuffed steaming haggis will be piped, and a sumptuous menu will be served on banqueting tables as long as the eye can see.

This year we open up the enormous balcony for a dedicated whisky bar, Burns poetry corner, face-painting and a multitude of toasts of fine scotch raised to the great man. And, in true Burns style, the post-dinner clearing of the tables will see rafters and tombstones shaken to the thunder-some stomp of a feast of feet ceilidh'-ing in raucous synchronicity to the uplifting virtuoso sounds of the Ceilidh Liberation Front: London’s most awesome-ist and raucous-ist ceilidh ensemble. Bring your squeeze, bring your kilt, bring your granny, bring your dancing shoes.

Scottish smoked salmon* served on rye bread, dressed with grain mustard and citrus sauce. Served on fine china and garnished with fragrant dill

Traditional haggis* with buttered neeps, tatties and rich whisky infused gravy 

Poached pear cranachan, with toasted oats, short bread, cream, and a wee splash of Scotch whisky

Dance only Tickets

These are now on sale. These ticket holders can arrive at 8pm on Fri & Sat, 6:30pm Sunday, sit in the balcony and watch the whole Burns ritual unfold before taking the floor when tables are cleared for the Ceilidh Liberation Front's foot stomping Ceilidh. Whilst they feast downstairs there's plenty to entertain above with face-painters, photo booth, wandering spirit Phil Kay and Burns poetry corner.

Sitting together
This year we are not reserving tables in advance. If you want to sit together with a group of friends you will need to enter the hall together. There is a whisky bar upstairs where you can wait for your friends to arrive which will be open from 7pm Fri & Sat, 5:30pm Sun.

Bar
Our main bar will be serving a selection of wines, whiskys, proseccos, ales, largers and spirits. Something there for everyone. The bar will be taking cards but we ask everyone to bring cash if possible as this will speed up service.
Dressing Up
Its only Burns once a year and we encourage you to go to town with your appearance. Kilts. sporrens, tartan, the lot. You can see some ideas on our Pintrest board here. For value kilts try A1kilt hire, apparently Lidl are selling kilts this year too. For something a bit more dressy try Child of The Jago for some superb Victorian style tartan-ware.
Face painting
Get the finishing touches on site with our face painting team. This is not included in ticket price so bring some extra cash.
Photo Booth
When you and your mates and everything is ready, head over to the photo booth to immortalise the memory with a professional photographer and set. There will be an extra cost for this.

Whisky Bar
Burns would not be Burns with out Whisky! We will be stocking some fine single malts and making up a few fine cocktails in our dedicated whisky bar on the mezzanine.
