A night of NYC-inspired disco music and revelry, taking place at one of North London's finest destination venues. A celebration of the cult of disco - worshippers are invited to join us on the mothership as midnight approaches, where we will be fully loaded with musical rocket fuel, preparing to launch into a parallel universe as 2016 begins. Meanwhile, there will be NYC-inspired deli canapés served throughout the early evening, a menu of delicious cocktails available at the bar all night long, and of course the signature LDOD disco jellies distributed upon arrival.

In the late 1970s STUDIO 54 was the most famous night club in the world. The venue attracted an unbelievable guest list drawn from the worlds of art, music, fashion and movies: Andy Warhol, Liza Minnelli, Bianca Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor, Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, Debbie Harry, Grace Jones, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Al Pacino, Cher, David Bowie and Salvador Dali. The heights of hedonism reached at 54 have become the stuff of legend, the combinations of polysexual glamour and celebrity achieved during regular and lengthy nights of excess are without parallel. Then in 1982, the DANCETERIA opened on 21st Street and became the hub of the emerging New Wave movement which enjoyed the regular patronage of Madonna, Duran Duran, Cyndi Lauper, The B52s and Jean-Michael Basquiat. The world has never been the same again.

THE LAST DAYS OF DISCO was started at Baden's Boudoir in Dalston (now The Nest) in 2008 by Clemence Godard, John Power and David Harris, and ran for over a year as a monthly party before taking a long hiatus. Previous live guests and DJs included: Andy Blake (Dissident), Bill Brewster (DJhistory), Mock and Toof (DFA), Damon Martin (Disco Bloodbath), In Flagranti (Codek), Nadia Ksaiba (Say Yes), Nathan Gregory Wilkins, Nightmoves (Kitsune), Padded Cell (DC), Pete Herbert (Reverso 68), Rory Phillips (Our Disco), The Oscillation (DC).

THE CHAPEL BAR is a recently refurbished former Edwardian music hall, located on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from Angel Islington, boasting 2 floors of stylish interiors, a sunken dance floor, 2 cocktail bars, a fantastic kitchen, seating areas, and a large heated roof terrace.
