Vicoli Di Napoli

Description

Well-established in Naples, having served delicious pizzas to the city's hungry crowds, Vicoli di Napoli brings its authentic touch to London's Stoke Newington.

The restaurant is run and operated by Marco Condurro, whose own father is the acting director for the Italian restaurant, and plates up delicious wood-fired pizzas, created using a handful of traditional recipes. Having honed their skills in Naples, four expert pizzaiolos are in charge of the restaurant's kitchen, ensuring that everything on offer matches the original dishes served in Italy. Its interiors are minimalistic and you can spot this joint a mile off walking up Church Street as its painted baby blue. Wander through past the blazing pizza oven and you'll find a gorgeous terrace, adorned with fairy lights, perfect for those summer months.

The centrepiece at this restaurant is, of course, the traditional margherita and marinara sauce, but adding some additional excitement are the likes of the san gregorio armeno diavola (spicy salami, fior di latte and mozzarella) and some gooey calzones. How about a Nutella pizza or tiramisu to finish? With fine Italian wines and ice-cold beer rounding things off nicely.
