The team behind the Lockhart expand their culinary reach to Soho, opening a new Southern barbecue joint a stones throw away from the constantly bustling Oxford Street. Chef Brad McDonald unpacks his knives in this rustic, West London haunt.

With an open kitchen located in the basement, guests will be able to see the culinary team at their best. Using the finest British meats and produce, Chef McDonald hopes to produce a huge range of Southern-inspired dishes. Bringing the heat and spice of Texas to the opulent streets of West London, every meat dish will be smoked in Shotgun's hardwood burning smoker and slow cooked over a traditional, Southern barbecue. 

Alongside this, expert mixologist Matt Whiley aka The Talented Mr Fox, will be in charge of the venue's cocktail bar. Armed with hundreds of different spices, fruits and juices, he'll be mixing up a number of intriguing concoctions, such as the Triple Oaked Old Fashioned.  

Shotgun will open in August 2015. It is located at 26 Kingley Street in Soho.
