Spiaggia

Description

Bringing the Beach back.

Conjuring the setting and culture of the Italian Riviera, Spiaggia literally means 'beach' in Italian. Think of summer, and never stop thinking of it. Materialising an eternal summer space, the team behind Fulham's restaurant concept Spiaggia open a space where those glorious sunny days don't stop. A warming refuge during those winter months and charming hangout when the sun is actually shining, Spiaggia is a slice of the Amalfi Coastal dream right here in London.

The venue is spread over two floors: top deck and lower deck. The top deck is where the Italian cuisine comes to life straight from their beach-side menu of Piattini (small plates to us), Piadina (grilled flatbreads), Spiedini (chargrilled skewers) and the classic assortment of pasta and salad dishes. Their selection of tapas echos those delicious sea-side munchies served up overlooking the beach. Delightful.

The lower deck is something different entirely. Creating a space where summer activities reign supreme, Spiaggia becomes a fanfare of foosball tournaments, arcade games, back gammon competitions, sporting events and those signature summer move nights. Although no beach in site, Spiaggia has sun loungers and azure skies galore to transport you back to those Mediterranean nights by the sea.

Menus

  • A word from the chef:

Authentic Italian cuisine with Piattini options offering the likes of fried calamari, meatballs al pomodoro and octopus & potato salad. The rest of the menu is a humble homage to traditional dishes: Piadina (grilled flatbreads), Spiedini (chargrilled skewers) and a selection of sharing platters.
