Description
Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind is an attempt to perform 30 original plays in 60 minutes. The concept was created by Greg Allen and the content for this show will be written by the Neos performing in it: Meg Bashwiner, Jeffrey Cranor, Cecil Baldwin, Kate Jones and Desiree Burch.
The audience is fully part of the show, deciding the order that the plays are performed. Each week, plays will be cut from the menu and new plays will be added, meaning no two shows are ever the same. Each night of performance is an unreproducible, living newspaper of the comic and tragic, the political and personal, the visceral and experimental.
Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind has been running for 25 years in Chicago, 12 years in New York, 3 years in San Francisco and now comes to London for three weeks.
If you’ve seen the show once, you’ve seen the show once. Just that one time.
