Crutched Friar, London

Description

A secluded venue just off Fenchurch Street, the Crutched Friar, named after the street it's on, is a fantastic pub serving a great range of drinks and authentic British pub food.

A unique layout, upon entrance you'll see a long, vaulted hallway leading from the front door up to the bar, with framed paintings, wine barrels and low lighting covering the surroundings. A spacious interior, it has a vintage décor with a chandelier and blackboards with a great beer garden ideal during the summer.

Popular amongst after-work drinkers, it has an informal and chilled atmosphere without any hints of pretensions. A fantastic food menu is available serving a fine array of British classics all throughout the week including Fisherman's Boards and an Open Chicken Pie with Applewood cheese. With generous drink deals such as 2-4-1 cocktails from Mondays to Wednesdays, there are plenty of reasons to head on down.
