I celebrated my birthday at the Magic Garden. I found the staff and the atmosphere to be extremely welcoming and friendly. The staff did a superb job at organising everything and keeping everyone very happy and contained. We had a fantastic evening!

Rude Manager . I went there as I liked the look of it and read good reviews about it on here. I have never been before and wanted to have my 30th birthday party there. I found the manager really unhelpful, rude and not accomidating at all. I said I might want to book an area and just wanted to have some information. His opening line was : You are aware of the booking fee per person. To which I responded no. Because it is nowhere on their website and I am only asking now for information. It was only GBP 5 per person which is fine but it just got worse after that. He kept mixing the numbers up of the booked areas outside and talk himself into a corner where I knew he actually do not want my booking of 20 people. Perhaps it was because I came straight from work and didnt look cool enough for the place. That is how he made me feel. Eventually I said thank you and I will think about it. He put me right off the place. After a few minutes I said I wanted to talk to him. I explained to him that I found his opening line of the booking fee quite rude and then he tried to deny he mentioned anything about the booking fee. He actually tried to lie again. What a shame. They must be rolling in the money to turn a group of 20 down. Place could do with a more helpful and friendly manager. I was shocked!

The Magic Garden is one of my favourite pubs in London. Nothing beats a summers day sat out in the tiki tent in the garden with a cider! The live music is inspiring and alternative and their food is yummy and american size portions! Love it. x
