Embark on your very own party down the Regent's Canal aboard the Canal Party Club! Take a dreamy summers day cruise by hiring out this party canal boat for you and your friends. Having done this trip ourselves, this comes highly recommended for an extremely fun day out and a beautiful ride taking in the landmarks along the Regent's Canal. If you are looking to hire a canal boat in London then look no further.

The boat is all yours (apart from the captain), you can bring your own booze, food and music as there is an ipod socket to soundtrack your party along the way! This two hour cruise leaves from King's Cross, Granary Square steps and travels to Camden, through the locks and along to the stunning 200 year old underground Islington Tunnel which is a marvel and has to be experienced. You will then be returned to King's Cross where you left. In the event of rain or cold weather the boat has transparent covers and a heater. The route is meet at King's Cross, Granary Square steps.

How long are the trips? The standard trip is 2 hours, but longer trips are available on request, extra hours are charged at £120 per hour.
Are there toilets on board? Yes, there are toilet facilities on board.
Can you take your own food and drink? Yes, picnic food works best and there's a large supermarket nearby. You need to bring your own cutlery and glasses.
Is there a fridge? Yes there is a small fridge and buckets if you wish to bring ice and keep your drinks cold in them.
Where does the route start and finish? The cruise picks you up and drops you off at Granary Square, Kings Cross.
Do we bring our food and with us or is there a way to arrange to drop it off sooner? Unfortunately there are no facilities which can hold your food and drink, you may arrive 10 minutes before your time if you wish.
Also - is 12 people the maximum number or is it possible to fit more for an additional charge? The maximum number of people is 12 due to licensing. You can enquire at if you want to hire two boats. The second boat fits 12 people and is £240 for two hours.
Can I play my own music? Yes there is an iPod dock on board.
Can I decorate the boat? There is permanent bunting and flowers on board but you are able to decorate it how you wish.
What sites does the route take you past? The route goes past Camden Market, Regent's Park, Islington Tunnel and London Zoo.
Do I get the boat to myself? Once you buy the ticket the boat is completely exclusive to your party for that time.

We had a family day out on board the canal boat and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were so friendly. However, I'd say you need 3 hours minimum. We did the two hour trip but then found out to go past London Zoo, Camden etc you need at least three.

We had a staff party on the boat and it was a great night out! Excellent service, free to play music, beautiful views, BYO alcohol and nibbles, fantastic night to mingle with work, friends or go as a family outing

Really like the sound of this - definitely gonna book it out for my birthday weekend in July with some uni mates. Heard nothing but great things so will leave my verdict once i've done it!

We had our staff party on the boat and it was so much fun! The bosses brought lots of stuff to make cocktails and loads of nibbles. We were all very suitably merry after the journey and went out in Kings Cross after. The tunnel was fun too! Little tip: there is a tesco about 5 min walk from the boat to pick up supplies before heading off

Amazing way to experience the city AND have some drinks whilst you do it! If you're lucky enough to do this when the sun is shining I can vouch for one sick time you'll have

I think my face chops in the photo above say enough. Really unique option for a summer afternoon in the city. Diane is the biggest babe, you'll be in safe hands there!

A fantastic choice for a summer party. It would suit an office gathering, or something like a birthday party or just catching up with friends. Bring your own picnic, a few drinks and create a party playlist, and drift down one of the most beaut waterways in London. Arrange to hop off by a canal-side pub to carry on the party afterwards!!

Such a cool night, may have been a bit nippy and they could do with heaters but we got to bring our own drinks and just enjoy the river (and the odd stare). And I didn't even go overboard (pretty unusual for topsy turvy me)

Fantastic quirky idea for a work Christmas do. Our driver/host was fantastic and very helpful with questions we had beforehand. Highly recommend it!!! Good facilities nicely decorated and weather proof. We had a lot of fun!

Amazing experience, really friendly staff, you can take your own food, booze, music, cruise down the Regent's, really good day out and well worth the money for what you get.
