Inviting "a community of like-minded clubbers who want to share a great experience week in, week out", there's a friendly vibe to Brixton's newest clubbing outpost. Phonox is here to keep things simple; Friday will focus on one act, one dancefloor and one Funktion One soundsystem all night, and DJ prodigy Jasper James will show just why he was the youngest ever DJ to play Glasgow's renowned Sub Club on Saturday nights. At a time when London's nightlife scene is seemingly plagued by continual closures, it's great to see a fresh new place to go dancing pop up in Brixton.
