Carol Singing at St Paul's Cathedral

A yearly Christmas event favoured by the old and young alike, the carol services at St Paul's Cathedral are the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. When you're all sung out, grab a drink and a bite to eat at Madison's rooftop bar & cafe. Set atop the iconic One New Change, with stunning views overlooking the cathedral's dome and the greater London skyline, Madison's is a great place to escape from the bustle of the city.

Southbank's Christmas Market 

Sixty traditional twinkling wooden chalets along the Queen's Walk presenting unique and unusual Christmas presents. Soak up the magical riverside Christmas atmosphere and enjoy a bratwurst, roasted pork, roasted chestnuts and a warming Glühwein. They even have a traditional carousel to enjoy when you need to give your feet a rest! The Montague Ski Lodge Winterwonderland

For those looking to add something special to their festive celebrations this year, The Montague Ski Lodge Experience could be the place for you. The Wood Deck, that is hugely popular in the summer months, will be transformed into a winter wonderland between 20th November and 31st January. Tickets start at £20 per person and include a choice of three flavoured vodkas from the selection of 12 and a food tasting platter.

Ice Bar London

Fortnum & Mason's Spectacular Christmas Lights

November 2013 - January 2014

One of London's biggest treats during the Christmas period are the department stores' lighting and window displays and Fortnum & Mason's are no exception. With work beggining in June, they are now a seasonal masterpiece and feature numerous different theatrical themed scenes. From dancers chatting on stage before the curtain goes up to a cab dropping off the star dancer, the extravagent window designs are a must see for the shopoholics amongst us. Once you're all shopped out make sure you drop in to Fortnum & Mason's 1707 wine bar for a relaxing glass of red and a delicious snack.

Trafalgar Square Christmas Carols

December 2013

There's nothing like a bit of carolling in the presence of an impressive Christmas tree, and none come more impressive than Trafalgar Square's Norwegian spruce. Choirs perform nightly from 5pm beneath the tree's 500 white lights. Once you've finished singing why not head on over to Gordon's Wine Bar; the oldest wine bar in London and a magical place to enjoy a glass of vino or two.

Regent Street Bar Hop

During the Christmas period London is awash with lighting displays, the best of which can be see along Regent Street. Next try out All Bar One, perfect for a cheeky beer and some pub food, followed by Sketch for its famous cocktails.
