Day of the Dead Futuro

For Mexican maestros Wahaca, The Day of the Dead ain't just about shoddy face painting and limp flower crowns. Going absolutely Wahaca bonanza for two days and nights of frightening film screenings, monstrous munching and dastardly drinking; this is sure to be the most vivacious and vibrant Halloween ever! 

Saturday and Sunday will see Wahaca invade Brixton's Number Six with all things spooky. This will be a night of jiving so electric it will wake the dead; with Movimientos and Celluloid Circus giving the party a little helping hand. Expect the unexpected, as myriad petrifying performers are sharpening their claws for this very night! What's more, there will be dangerous DJs to get all you undead spirits spinning around. Even phantoms get peckish, and there will be a taco van and cocktail bar fully stocked to satisfy hungry horrors!

Cinephile sinners will be delighted to hear that vintage sci-fi screenings at Brixton's Ritzy will occur on Saturday and Sunday as part of BFI's 'Sci-Fi Days of Fear and Wonder'. Free childrens' costume making will also be going on, transforming your little devil into a bona fide monster! All this scaremongering is for a very worthy cause, with all the profits from the bar going to local Brixton communality festival, Brixton Come Together. Not to mention the very good cause that is the extreme love of tacos.
