Ronnie Scott's

Description

Opened in 1959 as a small basement club in the West End, Ronnie Scott's has climbed in fame ever since and is now one of the oldest jazz clubs in the world. Since opening, it has welcomed most of the legendary and popular names in modern jazz and jazz fusion. The club features international jazz musicians, mainly from the USA and the main act is usually supported by the house band or a well known British group. Now with Ronnie's Bar upstairs, there's even more jazz to choose from. The audiences are packed out every night so booking is essential.

If late nights aren't your style then come along to a Sunday Jazz Lunch. The afternoon features a Sunday roast, a lively crowd and a fantastic jazz set. Children are welcome on Sundays so this is perfect for a family outing in Central London.
